Hydrostatic level transmitters are well suited for measurements in open tanks and containers such as sewage pumping stations. Here, they are selected for their high accuracy and reliability. A special area is measurements in open nature such as streams and lakes or groundwater level measurements in water wells.
The transmitter is designed for a long life-span in harsh environments such as sewers and wastewater collection. Here, it can easily withstand both mechanical and chemical impacts from wastewater, slurry and sludge. Many installations with Chatter™ and Expert™ can therefore exist for years without the need for manual supervision.
With a long-term stability fluctuating just 0.25%, the level transmitter is used in overflow detection, wastewater wells, fish tanks and reservoirs worldwide. The cable is flexible and pliable, but with a breaking strength of 1000 kg.
The design has both digital and analog output options, and is completely without sharp edges to avoid particles, textile residues or e.g. paper sticking to the cabinet or the measuring unit.
